I’ve been wanting to do this modification to the van for a long time, I’ve even had quotes to pay someone to do it. But I just really like getting stuck in myself.
So I picked the best weather day, with no wind and no rain, I then set about teaching myself how to wrap, using a metal based vinyl (so it doesn’t stretch well or isn’t great when heated).
I bought a vinyl wrapping toolkit, the vinyl wrapping magnets to help hold the material up while I applied it and then I bought the vinyl wrap in metallic gun metal grey on a huge roll.
I started at 9am and finished at 9pm – Oh What a day!
