Most of our driving has been to get to a city, and part of this episode is to get to LA and the 2nd part is to drive on the PCH (route 1) – a real roadtrip is to drive the roads for the what you see on them, the Pacific Coast Highway for me was one of the biggest parts of this trip. So we start off at Santa Monica Pier and join the PCH as we head up north for the first time on our USA roadtrip.
